Discover one of the most misunderstood chapters in the history of Canada! Located 12 kilometers from Amos, in Trecesson (La Ferme sector), this historical interpretation center, situated on the premises of the Spirit Lake internment camp built over 100 years ago (1915) during the First World War, is unique in Canada. Spirit Lake Camp will acquaint you with the daily life of the 1,200 prisoners and their guards, as well as that of the 60 predominantly Ukrainian families who lived in the outskirts of the camp.
